The foot 3D scanner is a device that performs three-dimensional measurement of the foot through optical principles.
The 3DOE foot 3D scanner mainly uses laser scanning to acquire foot data.
Its specific principle is as follows: The laser emitter emits laser light. After the laser scans onto the foot, it will cause changes in the laser form, such as bending and other deformations. The sensor records these laser deformations and offsets, and calculates the position of each spatial point on the foot surface. Combining the positions and distances among the laser emitter, sensor and the foot, it calculates the three-dimensional coordinates of each space, forms point cloud information, and then conducts mesh reconstruction through the software on the computer, finally generating the foot 3D model we see, which can completely present our foot morphological information.
Analysis is carried out through the software on the computer to automatically form a chart-based measurement report, and meanwhile export 3D data in formats such as STL.
The advantages of adopting the laser principle for the foot 3D scanner are: non-contact measurement, avoiding discomfort while ensuring accuracy; higher precision, and the accuracy of the 3DOE foot scanner can reach up to 0.5mm; fast measurement speed, generally taking only about 10 seconds to complete the measurement.
Usage method of the foot laser 3D scanner:
1. Equipment connection and inspection before scanning.
Before conducting tests every day, staff shall first connect the equipment, turn on the power, and confirm whether the equipment can work normally.
At the same time, conduct 3 to 5 times of test inspections, compare and check the reports, and see if there are large errors in data such as precision.
If problems occur, debugging shall be carried out in a timely manner.
2. Preparatory work for testers before testing.
Testers shall roll up their trouser legs to above the ankle, so that the scanner can completely scan the entire foot information.
At the same time, take off shoes and socks to keep the foot in a bare state for more accurate data. In addition, clean the foot to keep it clean and dry, which can avoid data distortion and reduce data errors.
3. Matters needing attention during measurement.
During the test, stand in the scanning area, keep the body relaxed and natural, look straight ahead, and do not shake the body.
The 3DOE foot laser 3D scanner is equipped with voice operation guidance. Whether adults, children or the elderly can follow the voice guidance to perform the next operation. The operation is very simple and easy to learn.
In addition, after the measurement is completed, when walking down the scanner, pay attention to checking the surroundings, do not collide with the rear camera, and take care not to trip over.
After the measurement report is generated, it can be downloaded and saved via mobile phone, or the report can be printed on site. If you are worried about the leakage of foot data and other information, you can ask the technician to delete your measurement data on the spot without leaving relevant information on the computer.
Foot 3D scanners are widely applied in medical rehabilitation, design and production of custom insoles and corrective shoes, campus foot screening, sports science, scientific research of biomechanics, intelligent shoe selection in offline stores and so on.
